When Nikki and Mike reached out to us, we knew instantly that this was going to be a special journey. Despite the distance between us, with them in Australia and us in Canada, we clicked right away during our video call. It was as if we had known each other for years, and we couldn’t wait to be a part of their love story.

Our adventure with Nikki and Mike began even before their wedding day. A few weeks prior, we met them in the breathtaking mountains of Canmore for the first of our “story sessions.” As we delved into their relationship and the path that led them to this moment, it became clear that their love was something extraordinary. The mountains provided the perfect backdrop for them to let their guards down and reminisce about the journey that brought them together.

On the wedding day, we started by capturing Mike and his groomsmen, their laughter and camaraderie setting the tone for the day ahead. We then made our way to Nikki’s parent’s house, where we found Nikki and her bridesmaids getting ready, the excitement palpable in the air. The ceremony took place at the stunning Copper Creek Barn, adorned with beautiful boho-chic décor that perfectly complemented the couple’s style. As Canadians and Australians came together to celebrate Nikki and Mike’s love, the energy was electric, filled with laughter, happy tears, and an overwhelming sense of joy.
