Wedding Highlights | Pyramid Lake

The first wedding to kick off our 2020 season.

The air was still and a fresh layer of snow laid on the trees. However, this quiet didn’t last for long.

The wind picked up and with it came slushy flurries… followed by the calm once again. It was impossible not to relate the weather to the vibe created by Jenna, Britt and their guests.

There were moments of sheer peace – like when we were expecting Jenna to show up for her first look, hidden in the trees while the snow fell around us – followed by pure excitement and happiness. At one point we could see how the a snow storm grew and built over the mountains and bowled over Pyramid Lake (Jasper) and made its way full speed towards us.

There was so much love and fun shared on this day, which for us was a day of many firsts. It was our first winter wedding in the mountains, our first gay wedding and our first RCMP wedding.
