It’s so amazing when we get to shoot intimate elopements or weddings because it allows us to really connect with the couple since there’s just them, maybe a couple of close friends and us.

Capturing Shauna and Cody’s elopement was one of the most chill and laid back experiences we’ve had so far capturing weddings.

It was a bit daunting to capture them getting ready since they were both at their place but it all worked out perfectly.

Their ceremony was at their officiant’s acreage a bit south of Sylvan Lake and it was absolutely gorgeous. We even got to enjoy a bit of extra time with them hanging out on the covered deck of the house as the rain came down so that we could capture some drone videos of them in the fields. It’s necessary to mention that Cody was AMAZING at frolicking on command.
