After a few years of long distance, Vera and Mat are finally building home and family together in Edmonton. They have traveled widely, collected a lot of memories, and this day brought everyone together to celebrate what comes next.

The morning started with Chinese door games, a playful tradition that set the tone with laughter and energy. From there, the families gathered for the tea ceremony, a quiet and meaningful exchange that honored parents and elders. Later we moved to the Fairmont Hotel Edmonton for portraits. Vera changed looks throughout the day, each one styled with intention and confidence, which fit perfectly given her work in fashion.

The ceremony took place at the Edmonton Convention Centre. Jennifer Bergman Weddings and her team reimagined the space into something elegant and warm, with details that framed the vows and brought focus to the couple. The reception stayed in the same venue and carried the celebration forward with speeches, full tables, and a dance floor that stayed busy until late.

By the end of the night, it felt clear what this day meant to them and to everyone in the room. Two families came together, traditions were shared, and a new home base in Edmonton took shape around them. For Vera and Mat, the promise they made here is simple and strong, hearts united forever.
