Fall weddings are almost every wedding photographer and wedding videographer’s dream. The light is softer, the colors show up in all the right ways, and the atmosphere always feels a little more grounded. Jenna and Garon’s day had all of that. We joined them just outside Edmonton, where the guys got ready at the local community hall and the girls spent the morning at Garon’s parents’ farm—the same place where the ceremony would later take place.

The garden ceremony felt quiet and personal, with trees just starting to turn and a group of close friends and family gathered to watch it all unfold. There was no rush, no big production. Just two people standing in a place that already meant something to them, ready to take the next step.

After the ceremony, we made our way down to the river for the photo session. It’s a spot Jenna and Garon have spent time at before, and returning there on this day gave the moment extra weight. The wind picked up just enough, the light held steady, and they had a bit of space to be present with each other before heading back for the reception.

This wedding didn’t need flash or spectacle to make an impact. It was thoughtful, honest, and true to the couple from start to finish. Jenna and Garon stepped into married life in a way that felt steady and clear—two as one.
