Mackenzie and Sheridan met as teenagers while working together at Joey Tomato’s in Sherwood Park. At the time, they were just two coworkers on the same shift, unaware of what the future held. It wasn’t until years later that life brought them back together. During a difficult season, Mackenzie experienced a serious health scare, and that moment changed everything. What began quietly turned into a deep, steady love. Together, they’ve built a life, welcomed their daughter Ezra, and now, they’ve made it official surrounded by the people who matter most.

Their Alberta wedding took place at the always-stunning Sparrow Lane Wedding & Events, just outside Edmonton. We were there to capture both photography and videography for the full day. Things kicked off at the couple’s countryside home, where Sheridan and his brothers shared laughs and got ready in the way only brothers can. Later, we met Mackenzie at the venue, where the greenhouse bridal suite perfectly matched the boho wedding style she’d envisioned. Every detail reflected her vibe—natural, warm, and effortlessly beautiful.

The outdoor ceremony was emotional and intimate, filled with heartfelt vows, quiet tears, and that unmistakable stillness you only get when something truly meaningful is happening. Later, speeches brought out both laughter and emotion, with stories that reminded everyone just how far this couple has come. It was the kind of wedding that didn’t need big statements. It spoke for itself.
