Julia + Nolan

Wedding Videography | Sylvan Lake, Alberta

Julia and Nolan’s wedding day was an absolute dream come true. We had the pleasure of filming their wedding video, capturing all the special moments and emotions at the beautiful 52 North venue in Sylan Lake, Alberta.

We started off the day at Red Stag Barbershop, a vintage-style barbershop where Nolan and his buddies got groomed by two of the coolest barbers we’ve ever met. It was the perfect location for some pre-wedding pampering and bonding time for the boys.

Meanwhile, Julia and her bridesmaids were getting ready at the venue, and we were there to capture all the excitement and anticipation. There was so much excitement Julia managed to spray champagne all over her fresh makeup. Being the champ that she is though, she quickly fixed it up and it was if nothing had happened. We loved seeing the bride surrounded by her closest friends and family as they helped her prepare for her big day.

After the guys finished getting ready in the “man cave,” we had a short but emotional first look with the bride, her dad, and her bridesmaids. It was a beautiful moment filled with love and a few tears.

The ceremony was beautiful, but the scorching hot weather had everyone craving a cold drink. As soon as the ceremony was over, the bridal party cracked open some beers and kicked off the party.

We had a blast taking photos with the bridal party, and even more fun spending some time alone with the happy couple. They were so natural and relaxed in front of our cameras, and it was a true joy to capture their love and connection. Seeing them dance together as the sun ray crept through the trees was one of the most magical moments we’ve had a chance to capture in a wedding video.

Dinner followed shortly after, with heartfelt speeches by their parents, maid of honor, and best man. It was clear that this couple was surrounded by so much love and support.

It was a fantastic day and we feel so grateful to have been a part of it. Check out their video below!
